But I wasn’t being challenged enough and I longed for the freedom to do what I wanted, when I wanted. I wanted everyday to be like the day that you call in sick to work to take care of things. You know, driving around when there isn’t much traffic. Thinking about how nice it is to be outside while everyone else is stuck at work looking longingly at the clock wondering why it seems to be slowing down.

I always used to hate that I could only spend a week on vacation from work. It always seemed liked I was locked down. Life can and should be better than that!

Flipping houses allowed us the freedom to take a trip up the entire west coast of the United States several summers ago. We started in San Diego and made our way slowly up to Seattle. It was an amazing trip that just would not have been possible had we been still tied to our jobs.

On that trip, after stopping at an air museum, my desire to take flying lessons was rekindled. I had wanted to do it for years and I decided that I would start as soon as we got back home to San Antonio.

To keep this from becoming an autobiography, I’ll shorten the story a little. I did take the flying lessons and got my private pilot certificate. It’s been a blast and I love flying. Now I did let my business slide a little because I was so caught up in the flying. After I got my certificate, I got back to focusing on business. I needed some way to be held accountable and I wanted to give people a chance to see what it was like and what it took to be a successful house flipper. After flipping several hundred houses, and helping people learn this business through my FlippingJunkie.com blog, I've come to the conclusion that there needed to be a better way for people to be able to get into the house flipping business.  

A way that would allow you to get started flipping houses even if you are in the position we were in when we got started.  

You see my wife and I both worked full-time jobs and didn't have a lot of money when we got started.  We also didn't have a lot of free time or experience in real estate.
